Well, to say that experiment was short-lived would be the understatement of the year!
Within about 48 hours of posting my experiment on Quora, I received a friendly (but firm) message from Quora moderation. Apparently they didn’t like my experiment!
So, needless to say, the post has been completely removed from Quora, and I can now say with a high degree of certainty: You cannot crowdfund an idea or charitable cause by using Quora (or similar social platform).
So there you have it… experiment over and my dreams of writing a viral article for a major online publication are temporarily squashed!
